About a month ago, I had the great pleasure of Styling and planning a styled shoot for Jess and Jake, a precious couple who have been married for five years. The most joyous part was five talented ladies in the wedding industry threw them the wedding celebration they never had.

July 5, 2014. A day full of thunderstorms all around, smiles and lots and lots of love; it’s the day Eric and I got married. Looking back there is very little I would change. We got married and that was purpose of the day. A wedding is a celebration, a time to love and share smiles with close friends and family. And that is exactly what happened.

Their love story began in the most serendipitous of ways. They grew up less than 15 minutes from each other in Ohio, and yet met by a chance encounter in 2008 during Lauren’s first week of college in Colorado.

Hillary + Tyler

In July I have the very exciting honor of coordinating Hillary and Tyler’s big day here in Gunnison, Colorado. Right around the holidays I received a text from Hillary sharing the exciting news that Tyler proposed while on a vacation to Jackson Hole. On the slopes, Tyler skied a ways in front of Hillary and pretended as though he had taken a tumble. Hillary skied up concerned that Tyler had injured his shoulder. On bended knee, right then and there, Tyler proposed!
