Devon and Billy went to kindergarten together and started dating in the 5th grade, so an amazing celebration of their love at the Crested Butte Wedding Garden was a must!
Before the ceremony, the couple shared a private first look in the wedding garden and had their portraits taken.
The simple aspen arch draped in white fabric was paired with a pink rug and pink pampas grass to create a boho effect.
Devon wanted a classic design with pops of vibrant colors. To achieve this, we used a white base with flashes of peach, hot pink, and bright purple throughout. The cocktail napkins had a gold foil of the couple’s dog on them since the dog was unable to attend their big day.
During cocktail hour, two ponies and a donkey with a flower crown fulfilled Devon’s request for an element of surprise!
The venue was softened with drapery and the eight-foot tables on-site were covered in white linen. Each place setting consisted of a gold charger, gold flatware, translucent menu card, mismatched pink water goblets, and a floral napkin to match the flowers from Hostess Haven.
The couple sat together on a green velvet couch at the head table, where Ciera surprised them with drapery and Devon’s favorite quote: “Live by the sun, love by the moon.”
Continuing with the flash that Devon was after, the sweets table was covered with a gold sequin tablecloth. Guests were treated to an assortment of Niky’s Mini Donuts and a simple white cake with handpainted gold and fresh flower accents.
For the dance floor, Devon changed into a jumpsuit. Guests documented the celebration in a unique guestbook of wood with gold sharpies. The night to remember also included a photo booth with white and gold mermaid sequins and a sign boasting the couple’s last name. To take home, guests were gifted custom designed mugs with an outline of Mt. Crested Butte as well as the date and location of the celebration!
The night ended with a sparkler send off!
