Snow-dusted mountain peaks and fallen aspen leaves created an authentic effect for this gorgeous, mountain rustic wedding. Jules and Jeff’s closest friends and family were intimately welcomed by mid-October in Crested Butte. The couple opted for a private first look at the Ten Peaks venue on Mt. Crested Butte.
Shortly after, guests arrived by bus to the Umbrella Bar for a pre-ceremony mocktail hour. Guests were then directed to the ceremony site, where Jules’ brothers officiated a perfectly humorous, yet completely personal ceremony. They even topped it off with an “official first selfie” with the newlyweds before their first kiss!
After enjoying cocktail hour at the Umbrella Bar, everyone headed back to the Crested Butte retreat. Not only did Jules’ family stay here, but the living room was transformed into a dining hall with a large wooden table and a few rounds. Mountain rustic decor adorned the entire place. This means greenery, votives, and antlers abounded. These details fit the couple perfectly, as the groom is an avid hunter. Following dinner catered by Hogwood BBQ, Sugar Lips mini donuts parked their trailer in the driveway for a delicious, made-to-order dessert. And what better way to finish the night than with an amazing dance party in the other living room at Crested Butte Retreat?
