Today I’m sharing Nicole and Ryan’s bohemian mountain wedding that checks-off every boho element in the book. A glorious venue in the mountains, hanging crochet the bride made, household plants the couple brought from California, an exuberant flower crown, BBQ aprons (okay, maybe not so boho) and an ethereal goddess bride.
The amazing eye of Amelia Ann Photography captured this wedding creatively and authentically. The décor and floral choices are absolutely stunning. I’ll let the images take it away.
The week leading up to the wedding, Ryan, the groom, camped out up Gothic and got at least one epic mountain bike ride in each day, including his wedding day, of course.

What a stunner of a flower crown, wouldn’t you say? Sarah Schmitz, the owner of From the Ground up, crushed it, per norm, with all of the florals.
Then Ryan and his Best Man tandem biked to the ceremony.
As the ceremony was about to begin, the darkest Crested Butte clouds rolled in. The couple decided to kick off the party with a cocktail hour and postpone the ceremony to keep their guests dry. An hour and a half after lots of rain and even a bit of hail, the ceremony took place in the garden of the Mountain Wedding Garden.
This is probably right about the time Nicole said “cutie pattootie.” during her vows!
And amazingly the two biked all the way into town for the after party. No outfit change.
