When you inquire with a vendor, and they respond with their availability and pricing, it’s the polite and courteous thing to let them know if you’re no longer in need of their services. Regardless of the reason; if the vendor is out of your budget, you’ve changed your mind or you’ve found someone who is a better fit, simply tell them. It only takes a few minutes and the vendor will not be offended, I promise! Communication is oh so key to us vendors. It’s a win-win, so don’t feel bad. Don’t be afraid to include why you are not booking with them. Vendors use this positive feedback to improve their services. You’re not the first, or last, inquiry that does not book them. Wedding vendors as a whole expect you will shop around, compare pricing, services, and personality and they know sometimes they will not be the right fit.
