As we bid farewell to another incredible year at Lucky Penny Event Planning, we can’t help but reflect on the joy and love that filled the air at each wedding we had the privilege of orchestrating. Meghan and Mac – February 19 – Black Canyon Inn, Estes Park
Love warmed the winter air as Meghan and Mac exchanged vows in the cozy embrace of Black Canyon Inn. We transformed the ballroom into a snug speakeasy dining area with tent frames draped in soft cream, velvet linens, pillar candles, and neutral blooms by Best Day Florals.

Sydney and Jason – February 25 – Taylor River Lodge
In an intimate gathering of less than 25, Sydney and Jason’s wedding at Taylor River Lodge was a rustic masterpiece. The saltwater pool transformed into a unique ceremony floor, and a cabin hosted a dinner adorned with 195 white roses in individual vessels.

Dani and Kendall – June 10 – Ten Peaks
Kicking off the summer season atop the mountains, Dani and Kendall embraced the snowy remnants with a white and peach color palette. A dance floor turned magical with a white parachute adorned with fairy lights.

Snowfall couldn’t dampen Leslie and Keith’s June wedding at Ten Peaks. Aspen trees lined the aisle, a hand-decorated 5-layer cake by Kelley Gray Cakes graced the scene,.

Emmy and Tas – July 15 – Ten Peaks
A three-day celebration for Emmy and Tas began with a historic museum rehearsal dinner and a stunning wedding day amid wildflowers. Personalized pressed wildflowers adorned the seats, and a farewell brunch at Rainbow Park concluded the festivities.

Emily and Preston – July 21 – Mountain Wedding Garden
Emily and Preston’s July wedding exuded soft elegance. Emily’s tulle dress with the most epic sleeves set the tone, and upside-down flowers hanging off the rafters created a sweet garden park ambiance.

Mike and Mallory – July 28 – Crested Butte South
Mike and Mallory’s vibrant celebration started with a private dinner at Bonez, followed by a rehearsal dinner at the CB Train Depot the following day. The wedding day featured a personalized dance floor, bright pink, vibes, and a sailcloth tent in a private Crested Butte South backyard.

Olivia and Will – August 5 – Town Ranch
Olivia and Will’s August celebration at Town Ranch saw over 180 guests enjoying stunning views. Bridesmaids chopped the train off Olivia’s dress for a dance party, adding a touch of controversy and a lot of fun.

Michelle and Kyle – August 5 – Ten Peaks
Embracing the natural setting, Michelle and Kyle’s Ten Peaks wedding featured a wildflower palette, lots of greenery, and wicker baskets hung over the head table for a focal point.
Jaime and Jackson – August 26 – Ten Peaks
Jaime and Jackson’s love for greenery was evident in every detail. Green dresses for bridesmaids, a green suit for the groom, and the tent adorned with overgrown greenery created a lush and enchanting atmosphere.

A three-day celebration for Michael and Sam began with ultimate frisbee at Rainbow Park. The wedding day at Ten Peaks featured cream drapery, soft lighting, and leather accents. And we can’t forget about their dog who signed the marriage license.

In Winter Park, Kacey and Corey’s Granby Ranch wedding featured a chairlift ride, stunning mountain views, and teal velvet table linens and napkins for a touch of luxury.

Greg and John – September 22 – Ten Peaks
Greg and John’s two-day celebration included a welcome party at the Center for the Arts and a September 22 wedding at Ten Peaks. Green suits, greenery-lined ceilings, and a masculine yet elegant color palette set the tone.

Kath and Jack – September 22 – Town Ranch
Kath and Jack’s minimal and classy celebration at Town Ranch featured mini lights, a disco ball, and a crisp white and beige color scheme. A touch of elegance was added with a florist flown in from Minnesota.
Meredith and Danielle – September – in the Woods of Crested Butte
We received a call just a few weeks before Meredith and Daniele’s elopement and they wanted a seamless and laid back day to elope at Lake Irwin. We drove out the compete arch, set it atop a mountains and had a personal chef come to their rental home for an intimate dinner.

Gabby and Eddie – September 30 – Ten Peaks
Gabby and Eddie’s September celebration played with fall colors, bright reds, maroon, gold, black, and white. A personalized gold and marble dance floor, clouds of flowers, and a year-long practiced first dance made it truly unforgettable.
