Tipping is simply the act of letting someone know you acknowledge the value of the service he or she provided. I’d like to clarify from the start, in the wedding industry, many vendors don’t actually expect a tip, rather it’s appreciated. It’s meant to reward wedding vendors for providing excellent service and going above and beyond what’s included in their contract. To eliminate tipping confusion, begin by looking at your vendor contracts. Some may already include a gratuity in the final cost.
2015! What a great first full year of being in business for Lucky Penny! It was a year full of love, celebrations and so many smiles. Not only was I honored to coordinate, plan and execute seven 2015 summer weddings, I was given creative freedom to style and plan three beautiful inspiration photo shoots. I met wonderful couples and had the pleasure of working with fantastic vendors; a big thank you to everyone for your trust and support.
I can look out my living room window and see Hartman Rocks. A rugged yet beautiful landscape covered in sand and rock; a mecca for mountain bikers and heaven for climbers. Day after day and I kept looking out my window and my inspiration for a boho styled shoot grew. Finally I had to do something about it! I teamed up with the very talented Sweet Tea Studios and many other creative vendors in the valley and created a beautiful staged wedding. Here is how it turned out.
